Home Church has many opportunities for members to show our love for Jesus by using the many gifts that each of us has received. Our worldwide mission work is increasing and needs more volunteers. Currently our global mission work is centered on the following:
Albania – Home Church has a partnership with Moravians in Albania and is providing financial support to the Bathore Project, an outreach which serves an extremely poor area in Albania. The project provides food, clothes and life skills education. Home Church members have visited the Albania Moravians and some Albania Church leaders and youth have visited here.
Family to Family – Family to Family is another aspect of support to Albanian Moravian ministries, this program provides an opportunity for Home Church members to pledge financial support for food for a family in Bathore, an extremely poor area in Albania. Cost per month is $30 for family of 3 or less, $40 for family of 4 or 5 members and $50 for a family of 5 plus members.
Moravian Missions – These mission activities include educational opportunities to help our members learn more about ongoing mission work, praying and planning for the people and workers in the mission areas and providing financial support through fundraising activities. Our youth and adults participate in mission trips to these areas. Those interested in global mission work are always welcome to participate. Presently, the focus is on Moravian work in Cuba, Peru, Sierra Leone and Western Tanzania.
